It\u2019s the sparkliest time of the year: the Indie Design Gift-A-Long<\/a> on Ravelry started yesterday evening and I\u2019m one of 262 participating indie designers this year!<\/strong> 🎉<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s the Indie Design Gift-A-Long (or GAL)?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It’s one of the biggest worldwide event hosted on Ravelry to celebrate indie pattern designers with lots of knit and crochet-along, contests, treasure hunts, and prizes!<\/strong> And it’s also the biggest pattern sale of the year for most of us.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tons (262!) of indie designers will be discounting between 10 – 20 of their patterns 25% for this event <\/strong>and I’m proud to be part of them. I’ve selected 20 of my patterns to be included in the sale<\/a>: socks (and the Marked Trail slippers), mittens\/mitts, hats, shawls,cowls, and even the Aerial shrug. My little early Christmas gift for you ☺️ You can check all of my included patterns in the specific bundle I created for it<\/a>. All of the patterns included in the sale are listed in a specific bundle here<\/a>, and all of the pattern eligible for the KALs\/CALs (= all of the patterns of the participating designers) are listed in this mega-giga bundle<\/a> (23000+ patterns!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The pattern sale itself run from now (Tuesday evening actually) up to Monday, November 27, 2023 at 11:59 pm (23:59) US-EST<\/strong>. The KALs\/CALs ends with the year itself, with a deadline on December 31, 2023 at midnight US EST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve already started to browse the huge bundle of patterns from all the participating designers. The little one needs a new hat and new mittens so I\u2019ll be joining the KALs with these projects once I\u2019ve finished her cardigan 😊 I’ve selected the Beeswax Hat by Baroque Purls<\/a> and the Palmistry mittens by Tellybean Knits<\/a>. Can’t wait to start and join the fun of the GAL (and maybe win some of the prizes!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
