Je viens d’une famille d’artisans et de créateurs et mon premier contact avec le fil a été à travers la broderie dès la petite enfance. J'ai développé un amour pour le fil, le tissu et la laine qui ne l’a pas quitté depuis. Je me concentre sur des motifs simples mais originaux qui paraissent plus compliqués qu'ils ne le sont vraiment. Pour moi, chaque tricoteuse ou tricoteur peut s’attaquer à n’importe quelle technique, à partir du moment où elle est correctement expliquée. C'est pourquoi je suis également enseignante de tricot, aidant ainsi les tricoteuses à maîtriser des techniques avancées sans que cela ne devienne une prise de tête. Two years after my first Pommes de Pin shawl, I wanted to knit a new version and chose the cowl version to highlight the light and delicate speckles. As much as I love the wide, cozy version included in the pattern, that’s not what I wanted for this yarn. I wanted something lighter. So I had to face the facts and frog to start again.. Narrower.
I have a lot of knitting desires now that the mojo is back. Especially as I find that knitting a few stitches here and there is much easier when doing knitolire rather than knitflix.
My list of desires (and commitments) is long … and it’s only getting longer as the days go by.
The same, but not the same. My socks will be cousins, or sisters, or best buddies. After finishing the first, I didn’t feel like knitting the second in exactly the same way. This is what we do most of the time on “classic” pairs. But this trio of colors won my heart the moment I put the three little ones down together.

I think the reason I love knitting socks so much is because I have a passion for heels. I’ve been trying to find this recipe for a long time but haven’t been able to put my finger on it. My madeleine de Proust XXL version. I’ve adapted the recipe found at Aux Fourneaux very slightly by removing a little of the classic sugar and adding vanilla sugar. I also added my own special touch with a sugar crust on top of the cake.
